Memorial Day in TN!

We were so excited to be in TN with family for Memorial Day. Your Aunt Debbie and Mamaw were loving your smiles you gave them!

You had your first boat ride and we learned that you LOVE the breeze!

Now if you were only this cute on the 7 hour ride to TN afterwards... instead you screamed for at least 4 hrs! Car rides are definitely your least favorite thing :(

First taste of cereal

In attempt to make you actually feel full we decided to let you try cereal for the first time tonight.  You moved your lips and tongue around a lot but werent necessarily thrilled ha! We will keep trying!!

Love it?

 These days you still havent come to love the play mat just yet. You will last all of about 2 minutes and then you are DONE!!

You do however LOVE bathtime now!!!

 Yes son, bless your heart.. Mommy waited too long to try your hat and so now your head is too big!

Bottle Boy!

Over the last 4 days you had a lot of bottles because Mommy had to be gone so much so today you decided to stopped nursing! You are a smart kid of course and realize you can get it much faster from the bottle and to be honest I was shocked we even made it this long... you are an eater boy and wore your Mommy out!

Goodbye Mimi and Potts

You wore another adorable outfit to church today.. Mommy cant get enough of the smocked ones!

After church Mimi and Potts took us out to lunch to the Olive Garden to celebrate Daddy's excellent job preaching!

Potts has loved spending these last few days with you and cant get over how much you eat!!

Mimi calls you her little buddy and she definitely spoiled you while she was here!

We were so sad that they left the next morning but had a wonderful visit and were SO thankful they were here!

Green Wedding

I've missed you these last few days that I have been running like crazy.... I love waking up to your sweet face (even if it is 6am!)

Mimi and Potts brought you and Griffin to the wedding today since Mommy and Daddy were both in it.

You were such a good boy and somehow slept during the reception even with all the music!

Spoiled Rotten

This was the picture I snapped before I left this morning... the rest of the day you were SPOILED ROTTEN by Mimi and Potts while Mommy and Daddy were doing wedding festivities! Mimi held you the whole time, Potts fed you constantly and they both didnt think you really needed a nap. Well okay you slept a little but they DEFINITELY thought I was crazy for swaddling you... "straight jacket" I think is what Potts called it! So needless to say you were OFF schedule and got up 3 times in the night.... But its okay because I know they dont get to spoil you too often :)

 One good thing about having so many rolls is that it makes you look like you have muscles :)

 I realize that a lot of your pictures have been of you in your exersaucer... and I promise you dont spend all your time there ha! You are just too fun to watch when you are in it and I love to see how you are learning to play!

We got the exersaucer out at home and Griffin immediately wanted to play with it... he loved it when he was your age but didnt quite get it just as you dont. It was fun to see the two of you interact!

Snuggle Puppy

Mommy decided that since you wont take a pacifier that you need something else to sooth you so we got out your snuggle puppy! You are getting used to it and did MUCH better in the car today!

Park Play Date!

We had a fun play date at the park today with your buddy Judson and I was able to get you BOTH smiling in a picture!! What cuties :)

Our new van!

 We are so excited to welcome this new van into our family!!! We spent most of the day at the dealership filling out the paperwork....

and one of the best parts of the van is that you actually dont cry as much riding in it!!!! You slept the whole way home so I think that means you like it :)

Best Buddies

 Today was a typical Wednesday at home, just Momma and the boys playing while Daddy was at work and had to stay late.

 You have become so much more alert these days and want to be sitting up and in the middle of the action.

 I think its hilarious that your big brother has seen Mommy take so many pictures of you that he too now says he is taking them... this is a picture of him using the video to take a picture and he said "say cheese Carter!"

 I love seeing the bond between the two of you grow each day!
