First Durham playdate

We had our first Durham playdate today with your girlfriend Jayden. We went to story time at the mall and then had Chickfila for lunch. It is exciting that we are going to be so close to her now!

Durham Bulls game

 We were thrilled to get to go to the Durham Bulls baseball game to watch our choir sing the National Anthem. It is SO nice to be so close!

Daddy was in hog heaven having both of his boys there with him at the ballpark!

Visitors!

 The GREAT news about us moving is that we are now close to our church friends...Ashley and Heather came to visit us today and we LOVE visitors!

We also have a backyard that you and your brother can ride the police car around in.. YAY!

Today was a long day unpacking at our new house. You went and hung out with Julie and Heather so that we could get more done... and when you came home you CRASHED!

 Yall are keeping Mamaw busy for sure! You and Mamaw like to rock while Frank and Griffin play on the computer.
You have also been practicing your sitting up skills.... the boppy helps out just in case you lose your balance.

With all the chaos going on with our move.. it is very hard to get anything done while watching you two boys. So... Mamaw and Frank came today and have SAVED THE DAY! We are so thankful that they are here to play with you two so that Mommy and Daddy can get everything done!

Blowing Raspberries

While we all get ready for church, you sit on Mommy and Daddy's bed and blow raspberries to keep us entertained!

We love the TUB!

We are going to moving the end of next week and so I am taking advantage of every chance I can to stick you two in the TUB. I love this tub and we will definitely miss it!!

6 month check up

 Shirt, shorts and shoes... this is a first for you!

 Daddy went with us to your doctor's appointment today and you just hung on to him as tight as you could, like you knew the shots were coming!

Uncle Phil came over after work to visit... we had missed him!

Big Table and tackles

Now that you are sitting up you get to join us at the big table to eat! Your brother loves having you by his side.

And I think it makes you feel big too! We are working on your sippy cup as well. Its a whole new world :)

 Griffin also likes to come and sit with you when you are playing in the floor.....

Daddy sure was happy to have us home after our visit to Tennessee!

6 months old!

 Happy 6 months Carter man! I cant believe you are already halfway to your first birthday. It is very true when they say things fly by with your 2nd child because it has... and yet I dont remember life before you either. We went to the doctor at you weigh 18lb 8oz (75%), are 26.25 in (50%) and have a head circumference of 45.5cm (90%). You are keeping up the big boy status and especially that HEAD ha!

 You are becoming more proportional now though because you are getting longer as well... we still call you chunky monkey though :)

 You are a smiley baby most of the time... and especially when we are out in public ha! People never believe me when I say you like to cry at home, but you do! You are babbling all the time, holding toys, rolling over, sitting up and curious about EVERYTHING!

 You are catching up quickly to your brother in size these days! You wear a size 12 months and are in a 3 moving to a 4 diaper. I have gotten out what Griffin was wearing last year and you fit!

I love the brotherly love :)

 You got to go swimming today and you both had so much fun!
